Forgive me if I just haven't been able to find your position on this on FB or your website but where do you stand on the present Illegal Immigration lawsuit against AZ, the president's Amnesty proposal (i.e. "pardon") and what to do about Illegals in our country? Many dwell on the jobs Illegals take from American workers but there's also the immense cost to taxpayers by way of services, health care and otherwise...your thoughts? Thank you.

Thanks Linda for the question. I am absolutely against amnesty and will not support any legislation that provides amnesty for those who broke our laws to get into the country.

August 2, 2010 Mr. LoBiondo's "dodge" to the specific question, is still waiting for a response, although he's posted half a dozen more times on facebook.... Frank LoBiondo "Do not understand what the President is thinking to skip the 100th Anniversary of the Boys Scouts...a national organization with such deep roots in our communities and countless families. And to miss this historic event to be on daytime television?? Wrong priority and wrong message to send to our youth who are dedicated to such outstanding organizations."

Linda, I'm LoBiondo's chief opponent this fall. I saw you asked the artful dodger about his position on Arizona's new law. Are you satisfied with his response? There's a pattern with this fellow.

Linda, please, read that link above, then I hope you'll check me out on my site and get my take on amnesty and Arizona's law. Actually, I've never thought to comment on Arizona, you can be the first. The folks in Arizona have every right to attempt to bring this to a head- I support them. I also support a boycott of Mexico, a secure border and amnesty. Can voters deal in nuances, I wonder? I hope you accept the friend request, and I hope you write back to me. Thanks.

Gary Stein Good for you, Linda. Anytime you want to discuss the rotten problem of illegal immigration reform, and gridlock, pick up the phone and call me at 609-703-1741. Frank is always available......until he's not available. Thanks again. Here's a youtube of mine. I despise the Mexican govt but I have some sympathy for the illegals. We stupidly made it sooooo easy for them to be here, and they came!

how i could win
. Rouse the Hispanic-Immigration Reform- Lobbyists in Washington. Last ditch try and
best idea yet (below) to get their attention. While I'm thinking about it- contact the Democratic
National Committee too. At this point, they've all stunk. I wish Hispanic groups would stop
sending me "immigration alert" texts TELLING to call my REPRESENTATIVE. Their insensitivity
is hurting my feelings- my rep. is Frank LoBiondo.
. Idea! Drive a car to a friend in need, instead of flying. Drive it over the border- into inhospitable
Mexico- and l leave it with a deliriously grateful Beto. I've done it before!
Update- In the news, 8/05/2010 Car Bombs. The latest tactic by the drug cartels. Just what I needed to hear. Not to make light, but I might need a red cross insignia saying this "gringo" is
neutral.
. . Preparations: With great fanfare, I auction my Trans Am and antique GMC Pick Up on Ebay.
Advertise-(annoy) above (Hispanic) groups in Washington about the auction.. Someone-
somewhere finally acknowledges an email- next, I show up on the radar of somebody important
(@ New York Times). Unconnected to that, two car hobbyists buy the cars. Use the
proceeds to buy a 2000 or newer, small, fuel efficient car which I will then drive with Jersey
plates into the war zone- MEXICO. 2000 or newer- because of some silly red tape- Mexican style.
. Step 4 Using said publicity ....because steps 1-2-3 are such sure bets.... try and raise $2000
dollars for expenses (from the undocumented community) or the same folks I might
represent next January. ( Note: Step, #4, will be the most difficult step of a potentially
very clever scheme.......that's unfortunate. Will continue working on leadership-organizational
skills- practicing with Hispanics. Look for a knock-out blow to anti-immigrant LoBiondo upon
return.)
. Take 100's of pictures while I'm in Mexico and post a new web site when I come back. Details
to be worked out and made public at appropriate time.
. I win! The shear audacity- some would call madness- reaches a tipping point and I'm
"discovered."
My ideas (and my poise) triumph over the incumbents "laissez faire"
attitude............

My friends have been home 3 years. It's back to poverty for them. Why would anyone go back? Beto, who almost finished building his house with the money he made here, and helped send 2 of his siblings to post-high school as well... (they think the mom paid all),
is taking cold showers for the last 7 months because there's no money for propane. There's nothing left now after spending money on gasoline to get to his new job, working as a gov't employee-
where he hasn't been paid for the last 7 months! Or about the last time he took his last warm shower. They'll pay him eventually in one lump sum. They'd like it if he quit, I'm sure. That way the job opens up again, and another patsy pays- part one- of 2 bribes, necessary to get the job. The 2nd payoff is when they pay you for the back wages, and one or two months mysteriously is held back. This guy is no "patsy" he's stickin it out.
The place is ripe for a Revolution, but the people are too decent......so we pretend they don't count and we poke fun...... and don't give two "figs." But, half a world away, we're nation building. Sounds logical?See More

Gary, they're going back because they're starting to realize the gravy train is as generous as it used to be. They're realizing there are consequences for breaking the law. Imagine how much AZ will save in health care at their hospitals, ...free education & free meals for the kids.

Gary Stein Still here. These guys were single. Families with children- who are U.S citizens- in the schools, are not going back. Democrats will make sure of that. They'll talk about securing the border.....finally, and talk about harassing employers who hire illegals (all show) and know eventually illegals will be granted a pathway, and they will register as Democrats, with few exceptions. A few Hispanics who make a big success of themselves, might register Republican, but if you folks keep this up, don't even count on that.

Gary, they knowingly broke the law and knowingly put their children in a no-win situation. That's a choice THEY made. Now that the consequences for those choices is on the horizon - they're SHOCKED! I'm sorry your friend has to go back &... "live in poverty", but that's the Mexican government's fault and it is not America's responsibility to make sure people in other countries have good lives. Our gov'ts responsibility should be to US first.
There is only so much taxpayer money to go around and using it to keep people in central America out of poverty is insanity and will fail.
Maybe your friend needs to go back to his country & work to change things there instead of demanding that we change OUR laws to suit him.See More

Mary! What did the article say?
They're not leaving for Mexico, they're packing up for NEW MEXICO and Pennsylvania etc. I watched NBC last night and they showed landlords with empty buildings, and other states boycotting Arizona, where's this all end? It kills me to hear the word boycott thrown around. I've been calling for a boycott of Mexico, but who the heck am I? Here's an irony. The people who do respond to me and say how much a boycott of the remittances (have you read anything I've written) would hurt the families more than the Gov't being hurt. I hold the Mexican gov't at fault for 200 years of nonsense, the country is a joke......wait, I see you've written back, let me go look. But first, the irony in all this is
Beto has been effectively with out a source of income for 6 or 7 months, so it's like he's on the receiving end of a boycott of sorts......he's surviving.See More
