Hallelujah and I'm Your Man
I'm Your Man
.....Ah, the moons too bright
The chains too tight
The beast wont go to sleep
I've been running through these promises to you
That I made and I could not keep
I'd say please, please
I'm your man

Why Biondo
H.R. 413 – PUBLIC SAFETY EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE COOPERATION ACT OF 2009
“Yet another misnamed, blatant attempt to payoff the labor unions for the vast amounts of money “donated” to corrupt labor friendly politicos.”
413 is legislation that would extend the right to bargain collectively for better working conditions, wages, or benefits to public safety officers such as firefighters and law enforcement officers.
Frank??????? You co-sponsored that? I say that with all due respect to local police and firemen.....who might be feeling very ambiguous….

The House last night approved an emergency plan to prevent the collapse of the domestic auto industry....Voting against the bill were Charles Dent (R., Pa.), Jim Gerlach (R.,Pa.),and Frank A. LoBiondo (R., N.J.)
Why Frank? It doesn’t jive. You’re with them (unions), your against them. (shhhh, the reason runs much deeper than that dirty word you love to bandy about- “bailouts”)

No-Biondo
a letter to the editor 1992
..........the case in point this November is Assemblyman Frank A. LoBiondo , a Republican from Cape May and Cumberland counties who voted against I&R (Initiative and Referendum) and is running for Congress this year. LoBiondo defied his party platform by voting no. There is no place in Congress for a man like this.
Since he doesn't think the voters deserve the right to vote on the issues, the voters should respond by voting for his opponent this fall, and then by voting him out of Trenton next fall.

Monday’s Atlantic City Press article on earmarks, South Jersey, and the area's two Congressmen who secure them, is just another example of Frank LoBiondo, my 2nd district rep., trying to have it both ways…..
……. I’m running for Congress again this year, as I did in 2008, and I resent politicians like the deliberately vague Frank LoBiondo. My slogan is, Country First: District “2nd” ….

Money and Votes Aligned in Congress's Last Debate Over Bank Regulation
By Massie Ritsch on September 23, 2008 11:43 AM
The last time Congress seriously debated how to regulate the financial industry, the result was legislation that allowed the nation's largest banks to get even larger and take risks that had been prohibited since the Great Depression.
reveals that campaign contributions may have influenced the votes of politicians who, a decade later, are now grappling with the implosion of the giant banks they helped to foster.

Beyond LoBiondo
A sports, short story. A "7th inning stretch"
…..With all the drive of his 53 years, and the frustrations of the past 2, he swings, taking aim at the little sphere in front of him, making contact with such extreme force, the kinetic energy sends the ball into the atmosphere.

LoBiondo, Kurkowski debate mixes issues, personal exchanges
By DANIEL WALSH Staff Writer
Published: Tuesday, October 21, 2008
...After Kurkowski pointed out a vote LoBiondo missed, LoBiondo's mouth quivered as he said he missed it due to the death of his father-in-law.
"If that's not good enough for you, I'm sorry I don't meet your standards," LoBiondo said.

NJ republigun Congressman Frank Lobiondo had promised a decade ago that he would not serve more than 12 years but now says he will and here's the rationale he gave for going back on his word.
*****LoBiondo said because other congressmen have broken the term limit pledge, it would be unfair to people in his district to abide by it.*****
Deliverence
In the first article, Governor Chris Christie, in his customary proactive role, attempted to "alter" run-away state workers contracts.
On the other hand, in the second article, we have Congressman Frank "unimaginative and reactive" LoBiondo telling a Millville group that he will vote against the health bill. It's not the concept he'll vote against, he said, but the delivery. "Yada, yada, yada" - same song we've all heard before from Frank…
Lobi’s Oil Mishap
….Either he suffered massive amnesia, and forgot the horror stories from the previous summer, since a barrel was now trading under $50, or it could have been that the Dems in 09 looked like they were on a roll after Obama's election.
Thankfully his bit of legislation, HR 2439, went no-where; and neither did his proposal in the fall of 2008 to investigate the oil speculators, who it turns out, had a very bad year in 2009. Now it's 2010, is your head spinning,….
Curiouser and Curiouser
LoBiondo has sponsored 66 bills since 1995 of which 57 haven't made it out of committee. Only 2 were successfully enacted.
Here's one of Lo Biondo's most recent sponsored bills:
Gulf of Mexico Horror and One Candidates Take
Here's one layman ideas (a private citizen, but also a candidate for Congress) for some small compensation for our destruction of the Gulf of Mexico.... and waters beyond.
1) We develop a legitimate energy policy and put partisan bickering aside for once. The "drill baby drill" tough guy crowd like me (and Sarah Palin) wipes the smirks off our faces- retroactively.
2) We drain every nickel BP has, and wish them good luck in the future.
3) We impose a one time tax, of at least a few billion dollars on- each and every- oil company in the Gulf, just for being BP's neighbor out there in the Gulf and because we (Uncle Sam) can.
That's a warm up, how about...
